Master Thief.
Boyfriend of Ken Kaneko.
Been training to be a thief since he was a child.
Trains new recruits. His most recent pupil is Ken.
Unknown if his energetic personality is genuine or a act.
Eats really healthy for his active work and a good diet. Ken introduced him to other foods like cake and such, but he still sticks to clean eating.
Ken also introduced him to entertainment media. Was unintentionally sheltered before.
Very proud of his family, and sees his big butt as a badge of honor because of it.
Is on the Autistic spectrum. He exhibits behaviors related it.

Partner of Taichi Ito. Tolerates his playfulness given how Taichi takes after Naoki.
Brother of Naoki Kaneko. Wildly different from him but looks similar
He could be anyone. Be afraid.
Usually no-nonsense, a far cry from most people in the clan. Has signs of being a average Kaneko though, not afraid to have fun.
Really likes movies. Favorite film series is the James Bond franchise.
Wishes to leave the Kaneko Clan, but is constantly dragged back in.
Dislikes Ken due to him dating Naoki. Often makes death threats towards him.
Preferred weapon is the Heckler & Koch Mark 23 pistol.
Green eyes, black floofy hair. No blushes though.

Thief and medic stationed in Takayama. Cousin of Naoki and Naoto.
Likes to heal and take care of people. His honest job also being a doctor.
Seems to have a notable... obsession with Ken. He hasn't opened up about this with anyone. Rumored has it that he has habits of stalking.
Has never left Takayama and thus never went to HQ in Tokyo.
Has a love for chocolate cake and has it on special occasions.
Has assisted Ken and Naoto in their investigation in a string of murders in Takayama.
Has heard that Super Monkey Ball has helped doctors with surgery. It is now Naomi's favorite game.
Has a weird passive aggressive attitude towards Kagami.
Likes: Ken, cake, healing people, kimonos, fish, classical music

Masami Kaneko
正美金子

Leader of the Kaneko Bloodline Support Division. Looks after members of her family through checking their safety, well-being, and standard of living.
Worked hard to get where she is now, as due to the higher amount of men in the Kaneko family, it was hard for women to get noticed. She has made a effort to get in the high ranks and make it easier for women to work their way up. While she succeeded and other women who worked their way up thanks to her are helping continue the activism, Masami herself has continued her ruthless ways having made her way to division leader.
Through her efforts, she has worked in thievery, spy work, business negotiations, and recruitment.
Very proud of her family and values them to a higher degree than members of the clan not related to them, seeing everyone else as expendable. She still tries to keep a professional standing with them for business purposes.
In control of the Kaneko Essential Care program, providing money, food, and shelter to Kaneko family members regardless of career or status. Rarely, if ever, given to anyone outside the family.
Despite her cold attitude towards the well-being of members not related to the Kaneko bloodline, she's good with civilians and children.
The reason the Traditionalists and Reformists haven't gone to full-on war yet is because of her, trying to keep members from attacking each other, even if she does so via manipulation.
While the Kaneko Clan isn't exactly on good terms with other criminal organizations, Masami loves to manipulate them for her benefit and distracting them from the clan.
Despite her infamy due to her ruthlessness, she inspired multiple feminist groups who fight for gender equality in the workplace and better treatment, which has so far proven to be effective.
She has a big liking towards cookies and will likely send you off to a suicide mission if you take any of hers.
Throughout her work, she's sick of refined restaurants due to finding them boring and would prefer something more simple.
Seems to be on good terms with Taichi and Kazuki, despite conflicting ideals and not being part of the Kaneko family. The former due to helping children and the latter for negotiations.
Has gained the reputation of a "girlboss" among anonymous members. She finds this flattering.
Likes: Her family, cookies, fast food, contemporary R&B music
Dislikes: Non-Kanekos, fancy restaurants, rollercoasters, movie theaters (preferring watching films at home)

Thief in training and criminal investigator.
Boyfriend of Naoki Kaneko.
Suffers from Depression and PTSD
Would do anything for the Kaneko Clan out of gratitude from having him escape his homeless situation. He is especially loyal to Naoki.
Biological family is dead. Was homeless working numerous jobs for unsavory people until Naoya found him and took him under the clan's wing.
The kids and teens at Taichi's division love him. He has his own fan club.
Usually extremely afraid concerning serious situations, but he manages to pull through.
Cis male who identifies more with femininity. Baby blue eyes, pale skin, pink cheeks, brown messy long hair that covers his left eye.

Thief in training. Acts as a rival for Ken.
Son of Kazuki Kaneko. Kazuki is having him train to show his power within the clan, and will have Kagami participate in a competition against Ken and Naoya.
Hostile to most people. Dislikes Naoki due to finding him naive, has a bitter rivalry with Ken, and even dislikes the Reformists due to finding the thrills of the Traditionalists to be more fun.
Loves burgers. Will probably go ballistic if you ate any of his.
Rumoured to be extremely depressed. Neither Kagami nor Kazuki has confirmed this.
Also rumoured to actually like Ken. No confirmations on this either.
Actually likes Taichi and Naoto due to their action hero antics. Not a fan of Taichi's playfulness and pranks though.
Cyan hair that's been dyed, brown eyes.

Business negotiator. Discusses business decisions.
De-facto leader of the Traditionalists. Opposes the Reformists and Kazuki Kaneko.
Friend of Naoyuki Kaneko, Naoki's father. Helped raise Naoki and Naoto after their faither's passing.
Adopted Ken Ito as his son. Has him do competitions against Kagami Kaneko, Kazuki's son
Generally normal. Not as eccentric as other members.
Some say his status as part of the Kaneko family is debatable and possibly false, given how he's unrelated to most other Kanekos.
Sleep deprived. He sees sleeping for eight hours or more as a blessing. Begs Ken and Yamato to sleep with him if he does get those hours.
Black fluffy curly hair, green eyes.
Likes: Sleeping, coffee, jazz music
Dislikes: Overreliance on coffee, Kazuki and the Reformists, smells of burnt food

太一里

Leader of the Recruitment Division. Looks after children and teens saved by him and the clan.
Partner of Naoto Kaneko. A stoic, no-nonsense spy and a goofy, gassy action hero get along surprisingly well.
Saved by the clan when he was two years old. Swears to protect children.
Protector of children. Will make anyone who hurts children regret it deeply.
Has a huge armory of firearms and explosives. More fit for combat than stealth, and has taken lives in the past.
Brother of Ken Ito, somehow due to the "long lost sibling" situation as Taichi was nearly sold off when very young and was rescued by the clan. Still plays pranks on him and messes with him quite a lot, but he deeply loves his brother.
Satō surname was given by the clan due to any lack of family identification when he was first rescued.
Was really playful. Plays pranks on his peers and is shameless about his heavy flatulence.
Due to Naoki expressing annoyance towards Taichi after a leg injury, Taichi would end up trying to form something unique to himself. Now with a new outfit and new hairstyle, he tries to act cool, despite trying too hard and still dealing with stomach problems.
Dark blue eyes, black half shaved medium length hair. Later pink grown out fluffy hair.

She has also developed most of the technology for the training facilities, most notably the one Naoki uses for recruits.
A transgirl. She has transitioned just recently.
Of Catholic faith. Wants to make her religion more progressive in contrast to conservatives while also being very proud of it.
Good friends with Naoya due to their professions crossing over frequently. Tend to hang out often outside of work. If Naoya can get a break, that is.
Helps Ken explore his desire for femininity.
Likes: Her religion, computers, lo-fi music

Not a member of the Kaneko Clan, but Naoya and Yamato himself wanted him to be included on this page anyway.
Husband of Naoya. One of the few people he's not hostile too.
Unpopular with most people in the clan. Reformists, Traditionalists, and neutral members alike.
Since Naoya adopted Ken, Yamato also loves Ken as his son. This does not prevent him from beating him during training, but he doesn't lay a finger on him outside of training.
Was part of a traditional clan that's small, but is also pretty old.
When it comes to fighting and skills, Yamato is a monster. Will destroy anyone who dares to fight him and is willing to do some unsavory stuff to get the upper hand.
Dislikes modern stuff, such as modern music. Prefers traditional things.
Long gold hair with red highlights that reaches his back. Gold eyes.
Likes: Traditional Japanese culture, fish, swords, traditional Japanese music

kazuki akiyama
和樹秋山

Current leader of the Kaneko Clan and de-facto leader of the Reformists.
Father of Kagami and the late Goro. He's having Kagami train for the Reformists to show superiority.
Overlooks the clan as a whole. Despite having his own interests, he lets others do their own thing until it conflicts with his interests.
Former yakuza family patriarch. Was part of the Akiyama family.
His two most greatest partners are Tohru Yagami and Kazunori Takahashi. Tohru wanted more money but Kazunori has not opened up on his motives.
Still heartbroken over the death of his son Goro. Deeply loves him and Kagami.
His wife is deceased. He has not remarried.
Can be ruthless if he wants to, but tends to be very pragmatic in the pursuit of power and money. Has some lines he isn't willing to cross.
Black messy hair, stubble, brown eyes.
Likes: Hostess clubs (having met his late wife at one), literature, paintings, blues music

Reformist debt collector and therapist.
Loves to beat the ever living shit out of people. Has a lot of fun with debt collecting.
Became a therapist to take after her girlfriend, Niko Morales, who is a psychologist.
Currently a therapist for Ken. While still acting rough, she has a huge soft spot for him and acts as a aunt figure. Sometimes her hugs risk breaking Ken's back.
Part of the Reformists, but her second career as a therapist has her helping people from both the Reformists and Traditionalists
Kazunori is apparently afraid of her after tagging along in a debt collection.
When she's not doing therapy work, she is blasting Carpenter Brut in her office.
Long fluffy dyed red hair. Naturally black.
Likes: Fighting, mental health research, metal music
Dislikes: Cowards, emotional abuse, guns

Right hand man to Kazuki and formerly part of the Shikichi yakuza clan and Akiyama Family.
His demeanor is hard to pin down. Acts friendly one moment and cold the next.
Rumored to be doing unknown businesses on the side. No one has confirmed this.
Was partners with the late Takeru Jo, having been a accomplice in their Shikichi days outside of Kazunori being captain of the Akiyama Family.
Where he got his scar from remains unknown. He has yet to discuss it.
Once tagged along with one of Haru's debt collections. Came back with a very noticable limp.
Overall very secretive, as you can see.
Combed back blonde hair.

Leader of the Medical Team division.
Lost his legs in a unknown accident. Akihiko prefers not to talk about it.
Has a huge interest in the occult. Reactions have ranged from interest, disturbance, to annoyance.
When he's not talking about occult related things, he's pretty annoyed by most people's quirks, and thus prefers to be alone.
He either uses his wheelchair by himself by spinning the wheels or has someone escort him if his hands are occupied (For example, using his phone.)
Due to Ken going through multiple injuries, he has visited Akihiko enough times to know him as a acquaintance.
Likes stand up comedy. He either goes to live shows or watch stand ups online.

Dislikes: The fact that almost everyone around him is... strange, false information on the internet

Very controversial among Japanese citizens, people outside Japan, and members of the Kaneko Clan. Opinions range from supportive, to disapproval, to venomous dislike.
Very short for his age. Unknown why.
Knew Ryuji Kaneko, Naoki and Naoto's father, when he was still alive. Eichi found it tiring to deal with his requests concerning tailor work due to Ryuji's large rear.

Leader of the Oni Corps. Mercenary company and eventually a Japanese supremacy militia group. Former member of the Japan Self-Defense Forces.
Wants to bring Japan back to its empire days. Hates the countries that were part of the allies in World War II.
Has attempted to spread a bio-weapon called MEIJI-45, which would've been spread throughout the allies from World War II. Oni's plan was stopped by the Kaneko Clan and eventually the United States after an attack on their soil.
Responsible for having one of his members perform an attack on us and civilians. This led to 700 deaths, one of them being Kazuki's son Goro
Has been eliminated by Naoto Kaneko and Taichi Satō.

Serial killer and serial cannibal.
Was handed Ken and Yuki Ito's body. Masaru ate Ken's mother's body. Fortunately, Ken was able to escape.
We're still trying to get a idea on how many people fell victim to Masaru. Probably in the double digits.
Ken has been given permission to bring Masaru to justice. Yamato is trying to intervene, presumably to end Masaru's life.
Polite and gentleman like to a creepy and disturbing extent. Most likely a persona.
Apparently has been a cannibal since he was a child. We are deeply disturbed.
STATUS: Ken will be handling him. Naoki may or may not get involved.

Cultist, member of the Beholder of the Goddess.
Reportedly not a beliver for the Beholder organization. She uses her position as an excuse to do whatever she wants.
A truly horrific individual. Loves the suffering of others and does terrible things to people because she can. There is nothing she wouldn't do if it involved hurting people. Murder, mutilation, brainwashing, and other unspeakable acts are pretty much hobbies to her.
Murderer of Ryuji Kaneko, legendary thief and father of Naoki and Naoto Kaneko. Has been made an adversary for this reason.
Rumored to be the perpetrator of the Shinto Festival Massacre, a mass poisoning due to tainted food and drinks. 20 people died, 2 Kaneko Clan members and 18 civilians.
Has chopped off Ken's right hand. Fortunately, he has received a prosthetic hand from the Medical Team.
If you ever encounter her by yourself, whether you are a Kaneko Clan member or a civilian, take caution immediately. Run, hide, or fight if you have to. For clan members, report your sighting of her to a higher up. If you are a civilian, call the police.
STATUS: Ken will be handling her. Naoki has insisted on getting involved.

Founded in 1358, brothers Naohiro and Naozane Kaneko found El Dorado, the City of Gold. Using the gold and treasures, they formed the Kaneko Clan, originally a powerful samurai clan, it went on to become a thief clan. The clan would become more powerful over the years, expanding beyond Japan and having overseas operations in countries such as the United States, England, France, Sweden, and other countries. We have access to hotels, schools, orphanages, and shops that are run and used by clan members. The police even tolerate us since we help on cracking down on crime. Unfortunately, in 1988, we have had a split between Traditionalists and Reformists. The Traditionalists prefer upholding the ideals of thievery and seek to help others. The Reformists are more no-nonsense in that they seek profit and will do anything for said riches, even if it means doing unpleasant things. We are still in this split to is very day, with Naoya Kaneko leading the Traditionalists, while Kazuki Akiyama, the leader of the clan, being the head of the Reformists.

Ashura Squad
阿修羅半

The Ashura Squad, named after the Yokai Ashura, is a private military company that has been bought out by the Kaneko Clan, on orders from Hajime Kojima, a Reformist leader in 2002. The Ashura Squad has been doing missions in countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations. They have set up facilties in not just Japan, but also the United States. The Ashura Squad was founded by Heihachi Sakura, a former JSDF soldier who was unsatisfied with the current state of Japan's military. He would form his own mercenary company in 1992, shortly after the economic bubble in Japan popped.
